In June 2005,LACCAT was commissioned to deliver a training solution to people who were resident in the Philippines, but who had been employed within the UK care sector. Developed in conjunction with employers in the UK, the training included an outline of appropriate legislation (including health and safety) and the protection of vulnerable adults. The training solution also needed to take into account the language issues. The programme was successfully delivered to 400 learners within the Philippines. |
